After falling behind 3-0, the Bulldogs went on an 11-0 run, forcing four Wolf Pack turnovers during that span. In total, the ‘Dogs forced five turnovers in the first quarter.
In the first half, the ‘Dog shot 58.3% as a team from the field.
To open the second half, the ‘Dogs could not put the Wolf Pack away, being outscored 20-19 in the third quarter.
The Bulldogs swept the season series against the Wolf Pack. They beat them earlier in Reno on Jan. 17. It was Head Coach Ryan McCarthy’s first road Mountain West Conference win.
The ‘Dogs are coming off a 79-50 win over the San Jose State Spartans on Feb. 4. Senior guard Emilia Long scored a game-high 19 points in the victory.
After today, the Bulldogs have just three home games left on the season before the Mountain West tournament in Las Vegas.
