Fresno State officially knows the road ahead in its first season as a member of the Pac-12.
The Bulldogs will play six home games at Valley Children’s Stadium and six road games during the regular season as they begin a new chapter in program history following their move from the Mountain West Conference.
The schedule
The Bulldogs will open their 2026 season with a non-conference game on Sept. 4 against the University of Southern California Trojans at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. and fans can watch the game live on FOX.
Fresno State returns home to Valley Children’s Stadium to host their home opener against Sacramento State on Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m. The ‘Dogs will then hit the road again to face San Jose State on Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. and soon after hosting Rice at home on Sept. 26 at 7 p.m.
Conference play begins on Oct. 3 when Fresno State travels to Pullman, Washington to face the Washington State Cougars at 6:30 p.m. The Bulldogs will then host longtime rival Boise State Broncos in the annual Battle for the Milk Can on Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. before traveling to San Diego State in the Battle for the Old Oil Can on Oct. 17 to face the Aztecs at 7:30 p.m. Fresno State’s lone bye week comes on Oct. 24.

The regular season concludes Nov. 28 with the Pac-12’s new flex-scheduling format. Fresno State is projected to host San Diego State, although the conference will not finalize the matchup until the week of the game.
Under the first-of-its-kind system, the Pac-12 can adjust final-week opponents based on factors such as conference interests and potential College Playoff implications, while enduring designated home teams remain unchanged. The inaugural Pac-12 Championship Game is scheduled for Dec. 4 and will be hosted by the conference’s highest-seeded team.
Barring any last-minute TV changes, every Fresno State football game in 2026 is expected to be televised and streamed on platforms like FOX, CBS Sports Network FS1, USA network and The CW. Fresno State’s kickoff game will be streamed live on FOX at 6 p.m.
