The Fresno State Bulldogs will play in the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl in Tucson, Arizona, on Dec. 27 against the Miami of Ohio RedHawks.
This will be the first time the Bulldogs will play in the Arizona Bowl and the 11th new location the Bulldogs have played a bowl game. The Bulldogs will play their second consecutive Mid-American Conference (MAC) opponent, previously facing the Northern Illinois Huskies last year.
This will be the first time the Bulldogs and RedHawks play. Against current Mid-American Conference (MAC) teams, the Bulldogs are 12-7 all-time. Against current Mountain West teams, the RedHawks are 3-5 all-time.
This will be the Bulldogs’ 29th all-time bowl game in their history. They hold a 14-14 record. It will be their fifth consecutive bowl game appearance, going 3-1 in the current stretch.
In 2021, the Bulldogs defeated the University of Texas, El Paso, 31-24 in the PUBG Mobile New Mexico Bowl. The bowl victory got the Bulldogs to 10 wins for the first time since the 2018 season.
In 2022, the Bulldogs defeated the Washington State Cougars, 29-6, in the Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl. The Bulldogs capped off another 10-win season with the bowl win and a Mountain West championship.
In 2023, the Bulldogs once again played in the Isleta Pueblo New Mexico Bowl, defeating the New Mexico State Aggies 37-10. After starting the season 5-0, the Bulldogs finished 3-4, costing them a shot at defending their Mountain West title. The Bulldogs held a 10-win Aggie team to just 10 points.
In 2024, the Bulldogs played in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, losing to the Huskies, 28-20, in double overtime. Kicker Dylan Lynch went 0-for-3 on field goal attempts.
The Bulldogs will look to get to the 9-win mark and close out the 2025 season against the RedHawks on Dec. 27. Kick off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on The CW.
