Women's water polo ranks No. 1

Staff Report / The Collegian

For the fifth straight week, Fresno State’s club women’s water polo team is ranked as the nation’s best by the Collegiate Water Polo Association.

The Bulldogs head to Malibu this weekend to compete in the Southern Regional at Pepperdine.

The 18-member Fresno State team is scheduled to match up with Pepperdine, UCLA and USC in Saturday’s all-day event.

The Bulldogs, members of the Pacific Coast Division, are seeking community support and sponsors for the postseason, including the division championships on April 23 and 24 at USC.

The division champs move on to the nationals at Texas A&M on May 5, 6 and 7.
