The Fresno State women’s track team claimed a 103-87 victory at UC Davis Saturday while the men tied at 96-96.


For the men, Jesse Smith won the 100 and 200-meters. Smith had a season-best 10.63 in the 100. NCAA Regional qualifier Ryan Moore won the 400-meter hurdle with a 52.40. Adam Andersen won the pole vault with 16.0075 and Oscar Rodriguez took the shot put with his 15.82-meter throw. Brain Turner also took first with his 54.86-meter hammer toss.


The men racked up a total of eight first-place finishes and the women brought home 10 wins.


On the women’s side Regina Ollison qualified for the NCAA Regionals with her 12.52-meter triple jump, a personal best. Samantha Modeste won the pole vault with 11-2.25. Katie Richardson and Jamie Farley won the discus and hammer, respectively.


The ladies won the 800, 400 and 200-meter races. Zinzi Evans took the 800 in 2:09.72, Christina Lopez won the 200 in 24.83 and Renee Winston took the 400-meteres in 56.65.


Fresno State travels to Modesto this weekend.
