Fresno State issued a press release Friday regarding individuals posing as members of the Fresno State baseball team.


The Fresno State Athletics Department issued the following statement regarding the situation:


“It has come to our attention that donations are being sought on behalf of the Fresno State Bulldog baseball team for a trip to Japan. The Fresno State Athletics department does nor solicit door to door, has not authorized such a program, not are there any plans to send the team to Japan. Those seeking such donations are imposters and are in no way associated with or represent the Fresno State Athletics Department.”
