Shopping in San Francisco

USU Productions and University Courtyard have collaborated to rent two, 55-passenger buses for a day-long trip to San Francisco for holiday shopping.
Josh Edrington from USU Productions said the trip is an event that was held in past years and is one of the most highly demanded trips they offer.
“We sell out every year for this trip,” Edrington said.
The buses will leave Fresno State at 8 a.m. on Saturday and will drop students and general public off at noon at Union Square, in the heart of San Francisco. Attendees are free to go anywhere they like and are required to return to Union Square for pick-up at 6 p.m.
“One bus is already full and the other bus is almost full,” Edrington said.
“It’s cheaper than driving and there’s no need to stress about finding parking.”
Students are advised to bring money for lunch and shopping.
Tickets are on sale for $20 students and $25 general public at the Information Center located inside the USU.
Edrington said if enough students come and request a second San Francisco shopping trip one might be scheduled for the spring semester, but there will not be enough time to schedule one for this semester.
