Quarterbacks
Fresno State’s turned to its running game, which limited Paul Pinegar’s attempts but of his 16, Pinegar completed 9 for 69 yards and two TDs.

Running Backs
In his first game with significant playing time, Bryson Sumlin was named the WAC’s offensive player of the week for his 106 yards on 17 carries against Toledo.

Receivers
The receivers took a backseat to Fresno State’s running backs, totaling just nine receptions against the Rockets.

Offensive Line
Paul Pinegar was worry-free with the offensive line. Pinegar was untouched in Tuesday’s game.

Defensive Line
Garrett McIntyre is making his comeback in Las Cruces and Hill says he has a lot of pent-up anger to let out. McIntyre was ready to play against Toledo if necessary, but his services were not needed. McIntyre has been waiting for this game.

Linebackers
Dwayne Andrews and Marcus Riley are a potent combination, combined for a total of 23 tackles.

Defensive Backs
Richard Marshall shows no signs of slowing down or letting up, as indicated by his interception against Toledo, the seventh of his career.

Special Teams
Clint Stitser’s 40-yard field goal against the Rockets was the longest one of his career. Fresno State recorded its first blocked punt of the year which resulted in the 20th special teams TD during Hill’s tenure.

Intangibles
The Bulldogs are coming off of a win over Toledo and even though they’re on the road, New Mexico State is in no position to stop them from their dominating ways. In both wins, Fresno State has beaten their opponents by a 34-point margin.

Junior Royal Gill had two TD passes last week finishing 15 of 25 for 192 yards but before that, was shutdown in New Mexico State’s first three games. Edge: Bulldogs
