King Tut's mask is expected to be one of the main tourist attractions.

The exhibit features 50 artifacts discovered in Tutankhamun’s tomb, which was discovered in 1922 according to the exhibit Web site. The artifacts include his diadem- the gold encircling crown he wore and one of the gold inlaid canopic coffinettes that contained his internal organs.

Also on display are more than 70 artifacts from other royal families from the 18th dynasty, said USU staff member Zarrin Mehrzad. All of the artifacts on display are between 3,300 and 3,500 years old.

L.A. is the first city of four, seven- month city tours. The exhibit leaves L.A. on Nov. 15 and heads to Fort Lauderdale, Fl. with no scheduled return to California.

The exhibition is presented by the National Geographic Society, which is one of the largest nonprofit scientific and educational organizations in the world, according to its Web site.
