Panel to discuss minority issues

The Fresno State Leadership Program will hold a panel discussion Mar. 30 at 1 p.m. titled “Minorities in Leadership,” focusing on the challenges and opportunities minorities might encounter. The free event will take place in the Alice Peters Auditorium building.


Presenters for the event include: Francine Oputa, director of the Women’s Resource Center; Ia Xiong, vice principal of Centennial Elementary; Vianey Nuñez, Associated Students senator; and Eddie Rodriquez, Outreach/Recruitment Adviser of College Assistance Migrant Program.

Program application deadline nears

The University Student Union is accepting applications for the Diversity Awareness Program for the academic year of 2005-2006. The application deadline is April 11 at 4 p.m.
