Singer teases crowd with sexually-charged show

Friday night’s sexually charged Britney Spears concert arrived in Fresno on the third stop of her 43-city Onyx Hotel Tour. Spears danced, moaned, sang and shook it for all she was worth and the crowd of 12,000 that filled the Save Mart Center had mixed reviews. The production about to be witnessed, an emcee said, would take the audience to a place where fun-filled fantasies would keep them on their toes and where their bodies would be privy to much titillation.More>>

Pooches put on a display during weekend dog show

A person walking around campus this weekend would have noticed a bit more animal activity than usual as the Sun Maid Kennel Club of Fresno put on its annual all--breed dog show. Every patch of grass from the science building to Thomas Administration was filled with four-legged contestants and their two-legged owners—all joined in friendly competition.More>>

Fresno State beats then-second-place Hawaii; Bulldogs qualify for sixth seed in WAC tournament

In a season filled with ups and downs, the Fresno State men’s basketball team managed to end its regular season on a high note, a 69-60 win over Western Athletic Conference foe Hawaii. The Bulldogs (14-14, 10-8 WAC) attacked the Warriors (19-10, 11-7), with a steady dose of inside and outside scoring, combined with a few fast break baskets.More>>
