<p class="subhead">Pooches put on a display during weekend dog show</p>
<p>A person walking around campus this weekend would have noticed a
bit more animal activity than usual as the Sun Maid Kennel Club of
Fresno put on its annual all--breed dog show. Every patch of grass
from the science building to Thomas Administration was filled with
four-legged contestants and their two-legged owners—all joined
in friendly competition.<a href="dogshow.jsp"><b>More>></b></a></p> </td>

<p align="justify">Three hours before they even arrived at the kennel
club show Saturday, Jeani Yoshimura (right) and Chris Endow had been
grooming their Pomeranian, Meepers, in preparation for the confirmation
competition at 10:30 a.m. The pair of proud dog owners had been awake
since 3:30 a.m. getting Meepers and their two other Pomeranians ready
for the show. Yoshimura has been a Pomeranian lover ever since she
first saw one at a dog show and had to have one.</p>
