Photo Essay: A peek into China Peak

China Peak is a winter wonderland full of snowboarding and skiing galore. I took a quick trip up to the peak and spent the day capturing people of all different ages, practicing the beautiful winter sports. The snow was fluffy, the sun was shining and their boots were strapped, ready to hit the mountains. Enjoy the ride through my China Peak photo essay; I hope you can feel the brisk winter air as you look through it.

Rachel Yepremian-Owens is the Opinion Editor for The Collegian and a senior at Fresno State. Rachel began as Opinion Editor in Spring ‘25 after contributing one semester prior. She also has been a staff writer for The Collegian’s Armenian supplement, Hye Sharzhoom since Fall ‘24. Rachel is a Digital Journalism major and an Armenian studies minor. For her future, she plans to continue writing for print and digital newspapers, publish books as a Christian author and be an advocate for the Armenian community.
