The defense kept the ‘Dogs ahead in the second half, forcing 29 turnovers in the game and holding the Spartans to 12-of-46 shooting from the field.

The Bulldogs will be back in the Save Mart Center on Jan. 14 after a one-stop trip to Grand Canyon University to host the Utah State Aggies.

The ‘Dogs have struggled to start the second half this season. In their last game, they allowed the Colorado State Rams to score 31 points in the third quarter and only answered with 14.

The ‘Dogs defense has allowed the offense to open up a 17-point lead on the Spartans with five minutes left to go in the half.
