The Bulldogs’ defense stifled the Redhawks all night long as they forced 22 turnovers and scored 30 points off of them. The Redhawks were held to less than 15 points in the first three quarters and made just one three-pointer out of 10 attempts.
A 26-12 first quarter got the Bulldogs off to the start they needed as they never trailed en route to their third straight win to start the season. The Bulldogs’ lead was as much as 28.
Long led the Bulldogs with 21 points on the night. Rean followed up with 19 points, while also grabbing a team-high seven rebounds.
50 points in the paint to go along with 10 offensive rebounds aided the Bulldogs in their home blow-out victory.
The Bulldogs are on the road for their next three games, with their first stop being against the Brigham Young University Cougars on Nov. 15
