The Big Fresno Fair is back from Oct. 1–12, with food, drinks and rides.
The main carnival will open at 4 p.m. today and Tuesday with additional hours throughout the week, while Kiddieland will also have its own extended schedule for families. The Museums will be open daily from the time fair gates open to 8 p.m. Today, the fair is offering $5 admissions.
Upcoming fair festivities include the Big Fresno Fair Rodeo on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. and the Fresno Car Show on Oct. 11 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Along with entertainment, the fair will feature food stands serving items like Dubai chocolate-covered strawberries and more, plus over 300 vendors offering goods from self-improvement items to jewelry.
The Table Mountain Concert Series will feature big performances, including rapper YG and a R&B Night Out with Mario, Lloyd and Nivea.
The fair also implemented some new policies for attendees this year.
Visitors are now required to bring one clear bag no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″, or a small non-clear clutch or wallet no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″ x 2″.
Over the course of 12 days, the fair is expecting to bring in more than 500,000 visitors.
