The College of Science and Mathematics’s Building Opportunities through Networks of Discovery program (CSM BOND) is hosting a Halloween Bowling Social at the Bulldog Bowl, located in the downstairs area of the University Student Union.
From 6-9 p.m. on Oct. 29, students who are part of the BOND program can get free pizza and participate in activities like bowling, pool, board games and more.
BOND is a year-long program for first-time freshmen whose majors fall under the College of Science and Mathematics.
“[BOND is] designed to help you make the most of your first year at Fresno State,” according to its mission statement.
It also says that the goal of the program is to both increase the critical thinking and quantitative learning skills of students, while also giving them space to be a part of a community.
Students can join or even lead research projects that impact local communities, and go to events like the Bowling Social to develop connections with peers, advisers, professors and more.
Students who are a part of the BOND program can register here for the event.
Update: This story was adjusted on Oct. 29 to better reflect the event start time.
