Dunkin’ Donuts arrives at Fresno State at the end of this month.
According to Nicole Lane, executive director of Auxiliary Services at Fresno State, the new dining option should be ready for a soft opening on Tuesday, Oct. 21, during Homecoming Week.
The franchise coffee shop is opening on the first floor of the University Center, where the Taco Bell used to be.
This location will be the first Dunkin’ location in Fresno, and also the newest addition to campus since the Resnick Student Union food court opened in November 2023.
“Dunkin’ will offer the full menu, including donuts, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, specialty coffee and tea drinks and more,” said Public Information Officer Lisa Bell in a press release.
The coffee shop’s hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Currently, the earliest available food option on campus is the Taco Bell in the RSU food court, which opens at 7:30 a.m., or the Dining Hall, which opens at 7 a.m.
Dunkin’ will add another option for students with early morning classes.
The new restaurant will provide 25-35 student jobs, according to the press release.
The Collegian will update this story as more information becomes available.Â
