Fresno State students will soon have the chance to pause, reset and focus on their well-being at the upcoming RECHARGE Wellness Retreat on Sept. 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Hosted by the Student Health and Counseling Center at the Resnick Student Union, the full-day retreat encourages students to explore a variety of hands-on workshops designed to support mental, physical and emotional health.
Activities will range from yoga and dance fitness to creative outlets such as painting, clay sculpting, gardening, scrapbooking and even sound bath sessions. Cooking demonstrations and music workshops will also be part of the day, giving students opportunities to discover new tools for self-care and expression.
The event is being held to create a welcoming space for students to connect with peers, learn practical strategies for managing stress and tap into campus resources that promote overall wellness.
To ensure that students fully experience the retreat, participants are recommended to commit to attending the entire day.
Space for the retreat is limited, so students are encouraged to register early. Students placed on the waitlist will be contacted if openings become available.
The Wellness Retreat is free and open to all Fresno State students.
