Staying undefeated and making its way into the Top 25 AP Poll is what Fresno State football has accomplished during the month of September, which is why it’s not surprising that this month’s Top Dog is defensive back, Carlton Johnson.

Johnson had 4 interceptions during the month of September, three of which came in the game against Arizona State on Sept. 16. He had another interception against Nevada this past Saturday. Johnson is tied for first in the nation for the most interceptions this season so far.

On top of that Johnson has posted 12 total tackles, 8 being solo and 4 assisted. He is currently a senior who previously played at Southern Utah and Riverside Community College.
