The Fresno State women’s basketball team accomplished its season-long goal of leaving the Western Athletic Conference as both regular season and tournament champions in its 89-61 victory over rival Louisiana Tech, Saturday.

Fresno State Women's Basketball Team took down the Idaho Vandals, 80-55, in the semi-final round of the 2012 WAC Championship Tournament in Las Vegas. Rosie Moult had 15 points and Ki-Ki Moore had 19. 'Dogs play La. Tech, Saturday Mar. 10, in the championship.

The women’s basketball team lucked out Thursday night despite not playing at the tempo it wanted to, prevailing 76-68 over Idaho for its 10th-straight win. “Idaho gave a good effort tonight,” said head coach Adrian Wiggins. “They controlled the tempo for most of the game and that was a problem for us.”
