For the love of the game

Anyone who likes to watch or play soccer now has a place to go. A soccer club, called Fresno International Soccer Association (FISA), has been established on campus.

No funding — no problem

When the Fresno State water polo club team started in 1999, there was only enough money for one full team. Eight years later they have money for two — men’s and women’s.

Former standout returns for a cause

Former Fresno State golf standout and now PGA standout, Nick Watney, has accomplished a lot throughout his career. He has traveled the world but this past weekend, he returned to his roots here in Fresno for the Save Mart Shootout.

Not about to give WAC goals

It has been a while since the Fresno State women̢۪s soccer team has given up a goal in Western Athletic Conference (WAC) play. The stretch goes back 10 games dating back to Nov. 4, 2005 when the Bulldogs defeated Hawaii, 2-1. That was 702 days ago and includes 1,063 minutes on the field.
