Eight players were named to the all-conference first team and three to the second team on Monday.

Wide receiver Paul Williams, offensive linemen Dartagnon Shack and Kyle Young, running back Wendell Mathis and quarterback Paul Pinegar were named to the first team.

Garrett McIntyre headed the first team defense list as he fulfilled his pre-season defensive player of the year prediction. He is a two-time first-team all-WAC selection. He was named to the honor despite missing two games early because of a dislocated thumb. McIntyre recorded 10.5 tackles for loss, including seven sacks and also had two forced fumbles and blocked a kick. McIntyre is joined by defensive back Tyrone Culver.

Adam Jennings was named to the specialists first team as he was second in both punt return and kick return average in the WAC.

Named to the second team were linebacker Dwayne Andrews and corner backs Richard Marshall and Marshall McCauley.

Fresno State had the most selections from any school and of the 11 players, six were seniors.
