Student senate meets for first time

Associated Students Inc. assembled last night for the first meeting of the school year.

AS members listened to speakers from the Intramural Sports and Recreation program and the Central Valley Cultural Heritage Institute as well as Paul Oliaro, dean of students.

Members approved funding for the International Student Club and the AmerAsia Club, appointed an Agricultural Sciences and Technology senator and discussed the development of a student bill of rights.
