The Fresno State water polo team brought home four All-Golden Coast Conference (GCC) honors for the 2026 season.
Three key players were named to the All-GCC first team. It’s the second time in program history that three Bulldogs were given first-team honors.
Senior attacker Hailey Andress took home her third All-GCC first team selection, becoming the second Bulldog to be named three times in a career. Emily Nicholson was the first to do this for Fresno State water polo.
Andress led the Bulldogs in scoring and was fourth in the conference, depositing 62 goals. She added 21 assists for 83 points in her senior campaign.
Freshmen Riaan Bryant and Katelyn Mobley join Andress with first-team selections. It’s just the second season that the Bulldogs have had a freshman given first-team honors.
Mobley became the Bulldogs’ starting goalkeeper from the start of the season and immediately made an impact. Throughout the season, Mobley made 188 saves, the second-most in the GCC. Her 188 saves put her fifth all-time in Fresno State history for saves in a single season.
She also ranks in the top three in save percentage and goals against average. Mobley also brought in the only two GCC Player of the Week awards for the Bulldogs.
She is the first Bulldog goalie to make the All-GCC first team since Paula Nieto Jasny did it in 2024.
Bryant finished her freshman season as the Bulldogs’ second-leading scorer, trailing Andress. She finished with 42 goals on the season and tied for the team high in assists with 22. Bryant’s best game of her first season was against the Azusa Pacific Cougars on March 14, where she potted six goals to give the Bulldogs a 19-7 victory.
Freshman Charley Stephens earned an all-honorable mention. Her 39 goals were the third-most for the Bulldogs and her 22 assists were tied with Bryant for the most on the team.
Mobley, Bryant and Stephens all land on the GCC All-Freshmen team.
The Bulldogs head into the postseason as the No. 2 seed in the GCC Tournament. They earned a first-round bye and will play the winner of the No. 3 seed San Diego State Aztecs and No. 6 seed Azusa Pacific Cougars quarterfinal match on April 11.
