The Career Development Center (CDC) is hosting a career and internship expo on Wednesday in the Resnick Student Union in the Ruiz Ballroom from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The expo gives students of all majors an opportunity to interact with employers from various industries.
“No matter where you are in your academic career, from freshman through graduate student, it’s important to get familiar with the companies that want to hire Fresno State students,” said Mary Willis, executive director of the CDC.
Ninety-six employers are registered to attend the career fair, according to Willis. Industries the employers will be representing include, but are not limited to, healthcare, engineering, software and construction.
Willis encourages students to explore all industries at the career fair.
“Students also need to expand their understanding of the career options available with these organizations,” Willis said. “You may think that they only hire for positions directly related to the product or service that the company offers.”
Registration is not required for the expo. Students can take a look at the list of employers attending the career fair by visiting HireFresnoState.
Students can contact the CDC through their email for more information.
