Behind a strong performance from senior Jake Heidbreder, the Bulldogs were able to win their last home game of the season, defeating the Spartans 82-68.
The Bulldogs caught a hot hand early against the Spartans, shooting 57% from three by the halftime break. They ended the game shooting 46% from beyond the arc.
Heidbreder had a team-high 20 points during the 40 minutes he played Tuesday night as the Bulldogs had a strong shooting performance. Seven of the 10 players who played scored, and the Bulldogs ended the night with five players in double figures.
Wilson Jacques recorded a double-double, tallying 16 points and 19 rebounds. He was the only Bulldog to tally double-digit rebounds against the Spartans.
Colby Garland had a game-high 26 points for the Spartans.
The Bulldogs will wrap up the regular season March 7 on the road against Grand Canyon University with tip-off scheduled for 5 p.m.
