Super Bowl LX is happening on Sunday, so here are a few things you should know.
Kickoff will be underway at 3:30 p.m. PST.
The New England Patriots are going up against the Seattle Seahawks — a 2015 Super Bowl rematch. Although the Patriots won that game, the Seahawks are looking for redemption from the close game they had over a decade ago.
Sam Darnold, the Seahawks’ quarterback, and Drake Maye, the Patriots’ quarterback, will be going head-to-head in this final battle for the championship.
The event rounds up everyone in the family. Even those who don’t regularly watch football always end up watching it for the commercials and the halftime show. Bad Bunny will be performing during this year’s halftime show, and viewership is expected to be on the rise.
There is always one thing that gets the family together during the Super Bowl: food!
You can go for chips and dip, maybe a couple of beers or seltzers and even home-cooked food with family. However, you can also just order delivery — trust me, I will too.
DoorDash always comes in clutch with certain deals and also has promos for certain places to save you money, from 20% off select items to $15 off $75+, which is good for someone who is buying for the whole family.
If you can’t make it home on time, here are some places that you can eat and watch the game.
- Applebees – The food is average, but there are lots of TVs in the restaurant to watch the Super Bowl.
- Buffalo Wild Wings – You cannot go wrong with this choice. There is a “Pick 6” meal deal for the occasion and numerous TVs around the restaurant. Good vibes overall.
- Colton’s Social House – This restaurant is more on the pricey side, but if you want a more intimate meal while watching the game, this is your spot. Oh, and they have lots of TVs.
- PressBox – This place has a louder, more robust style, but has good food & plenty of TVs around the restaurant.
- Crow & Wolf – Crow & Wolf is a hidden gem. A hole in the wall; this brewery has lots of beer & seltzers, great for a pregame. There are also TVs here if you can’t make it back home on time for kickoff.
- Mad Duck – This restaurant has a chill vibe, they serve great bread pudding and cocktails. There are deals for every day of the week, not just for the Super Bowl. This is a quieter vibe, with TVs only at the bartop.
The game is on Feb. 8, so be sure to tune in for the last NFL game until August. You can stream the Super Bowl on YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, NFL+, DirecTV, Fubo, Philo and Peacock.
