Off-Campus Student Life (OCSL) is hosting a commuter pitstop tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of The Bucket.
The commuter pitstop is meant to provide Fresno State commuter students with a welcoming space to relax, recharge and connect with the campus.
Evita Soares, the OCSL innovation coordinator, said they will be giving out snacks, stickers and other merch.
“Commuter pitstop’s main purpose is to promote upcoming events, resources available for students and give out freebies,” Soares said.
This event is targeted toward commuters, but it is open to all current Fresno State students. Students are encouraged to stop by any time within the two-hour window.
OCSL regularly hosts events to help build community among students, with this specific event targeting commuter students who often have early mornings and late nights.
The commuter pitstop is both a quick break in the day and an opportunity for students to learn more about future campus events and involvement opportunities.
OCSL’s next event, “Keychain and Bracelet Making”, will take place on Feb. 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Resnick Student Union Room 207.
