Senior day was a success for the Fresno State swim and dive team as they beat the UC Davis Aggies by 165-111.

Despite the Aggies winning the last two events of the meet, the ‘Dogs stayed strong and kept their lead for the last swim and dive event at the Fresno State Aquatic Center for the season.

The Aggies get a win, swimming to first and second place.

They beat the Bulldogs, with their first place finisher concluding the event three seconds earlier than the next closest Bulldog.

Bulldogs are up versus the Aggies, 161-80 through 14 events.

Laura Kalmar finishes first with a time of 5:00.40, leading the way for a massive Bulldog in the 500 yard freestyle.

The other three Bulldogs in the event beat the rest of the Aggies, with all four of UC Davis’ swimmers finishing last on the board.

Bulldogs are beating the aggies 121-67 through 11 events.

Senior Mackenzie Lung won big at the 200 yard breaststroke with a time of 2:09.17.

She beat the next closet Bulldog by 10 seconds.

Ryley Clark finishes with a time of 1:58.72. She gained a sizeable lead of over a second after falling behind to the Aggies by about half of a second after the first lap.

The sophomore won with the Aggies finishing second with a time of 1:59.33.

The Bulldogs won two of three heats of the 100 yard freestyle, beating the Aggies often by over a second.

Safiyah Supreme came in second for the Bulldogs in heat three of the event with a time of 27.92 seconds.

The seniors on the swim and dive team pulled through for the first eight events for their last meet at the Fresno State Aquatic Center.

The score is 120 for the Bulldogs and 49 for the Aggies.

Clare Luken finishes first in the 100 meter backstroke for the Bulldogs with a time of 2:01.09. Another win for the ‘Dogs.

Hayley Oke finished first with a time 1:10.7, beating the top finisher for the Aggies by .07 seconds.

The Bulldogs did not compete in the second heat for the event.

‘Dogs lose the Aggies, their first defeat of the day.

Fresno State did not compete in the second wave for the 200 meter.

Senior Laura Kalmar finished first with a time of 10:14.21, winning the event for the Bulldogs.

Other ‘Dogs finished high too with Riley Baldwin, 10:17.76,  and Ava Elliott 10:21.86, finished second and third.
