World Mental Health Day is today and Fresno State is ready to raise awareness.
The Student Health and Counseling Center is set to host a mental health screening day. The event will allow students to learn about various counseling services through screening questionnaires along with one-on-one and mini-group counseling sessions. There will also be opportunities for free prizes.
The event will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and is free for all students at the health center.
There are also other local opportunities to enjoy.
Fig Garden’s Lululemon will be hosting a free yoga class led by a brand ambassador. Students must only bring a yoga mat and sign a participation waiver before beginning the class.
The event begins at 8:30 a.m. inside the Lululemon store and participants will receive a 10% discount afterward.
