Fresno State is coming off a thrilling 3-2, 12-inning victory at Santa Clara on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs will need catcher Nichole Willis, who is batting .500 this season, to continue to swing her hot bat. Bulldogs pitcher Robin Mackin has been a catalyst for the Bulldogs on the mound and in the batter’s box. Mackin is hitting .375 with two home runs and her arm has struck out 36 batters in less than 33 innings pitched.

Freshman designated hitter Brittany York and senior third baseman Audrey Rendon have been the most consistent bats in the Cardinals lineup. York is batting .333 this season and Rendon is leading the team in runs scored.

Louisville opened its season with a 2-4 record at the Florida International Diamond Fun & Sun Classic. The Cardinals lost its first three games of the tournament by a combined score of 21 to 8.
