Bulldogs denied NCAA bid

When the NCAA Tournament field of 64 was announced Monday afternoon, the Fresno State soccer team was nowhere to be found.

Despite a 13-5-3 record, including wins over nationally ranked Florida and BYU, was not enough to get them into the tournament, at least in the eyes of the NCAA’s voting committee.

With a shootout loss to Nevada in the WAC tourney finale, the Bulldogs blew their automatic bid opportunity.
