Fresno State alumni Les Nunes and Roger Gonzales will perform with Fresno State Jazz Bands “A” and “B” on March 24 at 7:30 p.m., in the Concert Hall.


Nunes is a freelance trombonist and will perform with Jazz Band “A” on “Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most” and “Shaw ‘Nuff.”


Gonzales, currently a Fresno State master’s student in music education, will play the harmonica with Jazz Band “B” on “Everyday I Have The Blues.”


Nunes graduated in 1981 and completed a master’s in music performance in 2004. He is on the faculty at Fresno City College.


Gonzales teaches music with the Fresno Unified School District.


Both Nunes and Gonzales are music educators and Nunes is currently performs with his own group “The After Dinner Mints.”


Tickets are $6 for general admission and $5 for students, staff, faculty and seniors. For more information please visit www.csufresno.edu/music.
