Donation will reduce student ticket prices for bowl game
A $25,000 donation will reduce Liberty Bowl ticket prices for Fresno State students, Dean of Students Paul Oliaro said Thursday.
The Dec. 31 game will be played in Memphis, Tenn.
The anonymous gift, along with several other campus programs, will allow 50 students to save more than 50 percent on one of four packages that normally range in price from $1,170 to $1,450, Oliaro said.
Student packages, including game ticket, travel and hotel accommodations, game day transportation and a reception, will range from $455 to $755 per person for the three-night trip.
The discount package is available only to currently-enrolled full-time Fresno State students on a first-come, first-served basis. The offer expires Friday, Dec. 9.
Students must submit an application that includes a student identification number and a credit card number to the Student Affairs Office (Joyal Administration Room 262). Applications are available at the University Student Union Information and Reservation Center, in the Associated Students office (USU Room 316) or the Student Affairs office.
The applications also will be available at Friday’s football game at the student gate as well as at the Dec. 7 men’s basketball game student entrance.
