The spring Collegian staff named

The Collegian has announced its editorial staff for the spring 2005 semester.

Nathan Hathaway, a senior mass communication and journalism major who has overseen The Collegian this semester as editor in chief, will carry over in that position.

Maurice Ndole, a senior double majoring in Africana Studies and MCJ, will be the news editor. Ndole is currently the editor of the ethnic supplement Uhuru Na Umoja.

Chhun Sun, a junior MCJ major and the current news editor, will take over the features section next semester.

Eddie Hughes, a senior MCJ major, will be The Collegian’s new sports editor. Hughes is a former editor in chief and has been sports editor of the paper for three different semesters.

Senior English major Ethan Chatagnier will take over the duties of opinion editor.

Freshman MCJ major Joseph Hollak, who returned to school this year after eight years in the business world, will become The Collegian’s photo editor.

Hollak graduated from Fresno State in 1995 with a business degree but decided to return to school this year to study journalism.
