It’s not spring yet, but that hasn’t
stopped the Fresno State softball team from going to work in
preparation for the 2004 season. The Bulldogs open the season
Feb. 13 against UMass in the Fiesta Bowl tournament in Phoenix.

The Bulldogs are ranked No. 21 in the preseason poll. WAC coaches
chose Fresno State as the preseason conference favorite for the
eighth time in nine years.
