Fruit- drink store may close at end of semester

Juices Wild’s lease will be up at the end of the semester, said activities senator Brent Hansen during committee reports at Thursday night’s AS meeting.

Hansen, who sits on the food services committee, said the committee has been discussing a replacement for the establishment, and plans to vote on a replacement soon.

In other business, AS senators approved funding allocations for two student organizations:

• The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), which will hold speaker meetings November 17 and December 22.

• The Campus Coalition for Peace and Civil Liberties, which will hold two forums about the Middle East “The Palestinian Israeli Conflict”, scheduled for November 21, and “Ending the Occupation”, scheduled for December 4.
