Armenian Students Organization Spring 2026 Activities Continue

So far, the Spring 2026 semester has been chock-full of ASO events, with more to come.

To kick off the new year, ASO hosted a game night on Jan. 29 as a way of easing any new students into the organization. Attendees played games like “Heads Up” and, of course, Tavloo.

“Planning the ASO socials this semester took a lot of brainstorming,” said Lara Habib, ASO public relations officer. “With the school year coming to an end soon, we wanted to keep bringing people together for more and more events.”

In February, ASO members met up at Woodward Park for a walk-and-talk social, and went to dinner at Woodward Grill afterward. With a crisp sunset forming as the backdrop, the social was a perfect bonding experience for those looking to get up and get out.

Jordan Mazmanian, ASO treasurer, said the board had to adjust its planning techniques as the semester went on.

“At first, we felt like the events needed to be very structured and we needed to have a lot of activities planned,” Mazmanian said. “But the more events that we put on, we decide to have less activities planned during the event, so we would choose what we wanted to do in the moment.”

Mazmanian said her favorite event of the 2025-26 academic year was the Halloween party.
