Center Wilson Jacques wore a pair of Dame Xs in the “Pure Ruby” color way. Jacques is averaging the fourth-most defensive rebounds per game in the Mountain West with 5.68 and is second in average offensive rebounds per game at 2.84. Behind him, guard Jake Heidbreder also wore the “Pure Ruby” color way but in a pair of Adizero Select 3.0s. Heidbreder is third in the Mountain West in points per game at 17.5 while leading the conference in free throw percentage at 90%.

The Red Wave enjoyed a doubleheader at the Save Mart Center on Jan. 24 as the Fresno State women’s team played against the Colorado State Rams. The men’s team later played the Grand Canyon Antelopes. Check out what some of the players wore during Saturday’s games.

Rachel Yepremian-Owens is the Opinion Editor for The Collegian and a senior at Fresno State. Rachel began as Opinion Editor in Spring ‘25 after contributing one semester prior. Finnley Pendergast, Sports Editor

Finnley Pendergast is the Sports Editor for The Collegian and senior at Fresno State. He started working for The Collegian in the fall of 2024 as a Reporter before moving to Sports Editor in the spring of 2025. Finnley is majoring in Mass Communication and Journalism with an emphasis in Broadcast and Multiplatform Journalism. He plans to pursue a career on broadcasts, whether in front of or behind the camera.
