The Fresno State men’s basketball team is back in the Save Mart Center to host the Utah State Aggies for their Mountain West Conference home opener. The Bulldogs opened up conference play at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas on Dec. 20, falling 84-72 to the Rebels.
Center Wilson Jacques finished the loss with an 18-point double-double and David Douglas Jr. had his best game of the season by knocking down four 3-pointers off the bench.
The Bulldogs come in on a four-game losing streak, but righting that ship will be a tall task. The Aggies come into Fresno at 10-1 on the season. They opened up conference play against the Colorado State Rams with a 100-58 victory, an absolute drumming of the defending Mountain West champions.
The Aggies and Bulldogs tip off at 6 p.m.
