ORIGINAL STORY: Bulldogs host Aggies for final home Mountain West game
For the final time, the Fresno State Bulldogs (7-3, 4-2) will play a home game in the Mountain West Conference, as they host the Utah State Aggies (5-5, 3-3) on Senior Night.
The Bulldogs will honor 27 seniors on the roster. They will also debut new Ag Fest-themed jerseys.
The Bulldogs come into Senior Night riding a two-game winning streak. Their previous game, a 24-3 victory over the Wyoming Cowboys.
In the rain, the Bulldogs relied heavily on their running game to push them over the edge. Rayshon Luke led the rushing attack with 92 yards, and Johnathan Arceneaux added 70 yards on the ground.
While quarterback Carson Conklin had just 95 yards through the air, his game management was enough for the Bulldogs. He led the Bulldogs to a second consecutive game without a turnover.
While their odds of making the Mountain West Conference championship game still are slim, a win will keep the Bulldogs alive for another week.
The Bulldogs and Aggies will kick off at 7:30 p.m. on the CBS Sports Network.
