After forcing a quick three-and-out to start the second half, the Bulldogs started their opening drive from the Southern University 42-yard line.

The ‘Dogs mixed between the run and pass, getting all the way down to the Jaguars’ 13-yard line.

E.J. Warner found receiver Ezekiel Avit for a 10-yard catch when Avit fumbled the ball on the Jaguar tackle.

The Fresno State Bulldogs lead the Southern University Jaguars 35-7 at halftime.

Quarterback E.J. Warner has completed 17 of his 20 pass attempts for 214 passing yards and four passing touchdowns.

Running back Bryson Donelson leads all backs with 91 rushing yards on eight carries and added a 57-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter.

Running back Rayshon Luke leads all Bulldogs with 70 receiving yards on six receptions. He also added a receiving touchdown in the second quarter.

Defensive linemen Deijon Laffitte and Finn Claypool combined for a sack in the first quarter.

Laffitte and defensive back Jayden Davis are tied for the lead in tackles with four apiece.

The 20 minute halftime will feature the Battle of the Bands between Fresno State and Southern University.

Following the blocked kick, E.J. Warner drove the Bulldogs downfield finding Jordan Brown for a 22-yard reception and Rayshon Luke for a 20-yard catch.

After a 15-yard sack, Warner found tight end Richie Anderson in the end zone for a 22-yard passing touchdown.

Bulldogs add to their lead, making it 35-7 with just 33 seconds remaining in the first half.

Defensive lineman Merhauti Xepera blocked the Jaguars’ 44-yard field goal attempt.

With two minutes to go in the first half, the Jaguars are driving deep into Bulldog territory.

Strother has continued to cause problems for the Bulldog defense —120 yards through the air for Strother and the Jaguars in the second quarter.

The Jaguars have the ball on the Bulldog 22-yard line.

One play after the Jaguars scored, Donelson took a handoff 57 yards to the house for the longest Bulldog touchdown of 2025.

The Jaguars brought in backup quarterback Ashton Strother to begin their drive and provided a spark.

Strother found wide receiver Malachi Jackson for a 28-yard reception. He followed this with another long completion to wide receiver Kobe Brown for 19 yards.

On 3rd-and-6, Strother found wide receiver Darren Morris on a short completion. Defensive back Jayden Davis looked to have a tackle, but grabbed Morris’s facemask.

The Jaguars found the end zone on a 1-yard rush from running back Trey Holly.

Starting on the Jaguar 41-yard line, the ‘Dogs found the end zone for a third time. Running back Rayshon Luke took a touch-pass from Warner for a 19-yard touchdown.

Luke’s touchdown was set up by two Donelson rushes for eight yards and a Jake Tarwater 14-yard catch.

Warner has completed 12 of his 13 passes for 126 yards with his three touchdowns.

The Fresno State Bulldogs are leading the Southern University Jaguars 14-0 through one quarter of action.

E.J. Warner threw two touchdown passes, his first two of the season. Warner was also perfect, completing all 10 of his pass attempts.

The Bulldogs totaled 126 yards in the first quarter, compared to the Jaguars’ -2 total yards.

Warner and the ‘Dogs will start the second quarter with the ball on the Jaguars’ 47-yard line.

The Fresno State Bulldogs take a 14-0 lead with under three minutes to go in the first quarter.

After forcing a quick punt, the Bulldogs got the ball back on their own 46-yard line.

The running back duo of Bryson Donelson and Rayshon Luke brought the ‘Dogs to the Southern University 6-yard line.

Warner found wide receiver Jordan Brown who strolled into the end zone for his first touchdown of the season.

Warner completed passes to four different ‘Dogs on the 65-yard drive. He capped it off with a 25-yard passing touchdown to wide receiver Harold Duvall.
