ASI to discuss resolution for ceasefire in the Gaza Strip today

The Fresno State Associated Students Inc. has scheduled an action item regarding the war in Gaza for its senate meeting today, April 10.

The item is first on the agenda for new business and will present a resolution in support of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

ASI Executive Vice President Frederick Lisitsa will introduce the resolution, supporting the call for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

In the agenda, ASI shared what the call for ceasefire aims to acknowledge.

“The resolution aims to acknowledge the significant loss of life and the importance of peaceful resolution to the conflict,” the agenda states.

They will then request the senate’s decision on the resolution.

Senate meetings are open for attendance to students, faculty and staff. Today’s meeting will be held at 4 p.m. in the Resnick Student Union Room 207.
