Campus internet returns, network outages cause class cancellations

Network connectivity returned to the Fresno State campus Monday afternoon after campuswide outages led to the cancellation of some classes.

Around 1 p.m. on Monday afternoon, network outages across Fresno State left campus resources in the Library unavailable for use and caused restaurants within the University Student Union and Resnick Student Union to only complete transactions with cash.

All online reservations and food orders via the Fetch app were not functioning for that period of time.

As of 2:46 p.m., internet access returned for students, staff and faculty.

In a Tweet sent by Fresno State Technology Services, network connectivity and internet access “is back up and functioning normally.”

As of reporting, the cause of the connectivity issues is unknown.
