The entertainment scene in Fresno will take on major effects due to the coronavirus, starting with the upcoming Save Mart Center events.

On Tuesday, March 12, 2020 SMC announced three reschedules and one cancellation:

• The Lynyrd Skynyrd concert originally scheduled for Friday, March 13, 2020, has been rescheduled to Friday, Aug. 14, 2020.
• The Jojo Siwa concert originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, 2020, has been rescheduled to Saturday, June 13, 2020.
• The Sierra Cup Classic originally scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2020, but has been cancelled.
• Brantley Gilbert, originally scheduled for Friday, March 27, 2020,  has been postponed; new update to be announced.

SMC message on its website from Skynyrd stated: 

Out of an abundance of caution, the March stops of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour are proactively being rescheduled. The band’s Fresno, California, date will now be held Friday, Aug. 14 and the Reno, Nevada, show moves to Friday, Oct. 2. The four additional March dates will also be rescheduled with new dates announced soon. Tour support for all the rescheduled dates will be announced in the very near future. SMC message shared on its website for Siwa stated:

In light of ongoing public health concerns, the JoJo Siwa show has been postponed to June 13. Ticket holders should hold on to their tickets, which will be honored at the rescheduled date. Ticket holders will be contacted directly regarding this postponed event in the next few days.

SMC message shared on their website for Gilbert stated:

Out of an abundance of caution, the March 27 Brantley Gilbert show at Save Mart Center has been postponed. Rescheduled dates will be announced soon. Both Baby Shark Live! and Nick Cannon’s have been postponed for later dates:

• Baby Shark Live!, scheduled at the Save Mart Center on April 3, has been postponed at the recommendation of public health officials. Tickets purchased for the April 3 show will be honored on the new date.
• Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘N Out Tour, scheduled at the Save Mart Center on April 5, has been postponed and has been actively rescheduled. Tickets purchased for the April 5 show will be honored on the new date.
