FresCon’s 5th annual comic convention coming this weekend

Fresno State’s very own comic convention is coming to campus this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the University Student Union balcony.

FresCon is back for its 5th year, bringing 40 vendors, a kids zone, community fair and a cosplay scavenger hunt.

Fresno State professors from different departments will be hosting panels in the Vintage Room, including author and filmmaker Philip Cable, who will be discussing his newest movie “Night Mistress.”

The one-day event is planned by a committee made up of 11 Fresno State students from various backgrounds and majors.

The event is open to the public. Admission and parking are free.
