The Craig School of Business will release its second edition of the Central California Business Review, a magazine which features commentary and analysis of future economic and business conditions in Central California, according to a university news release.

The annual publication will be released at an event in the Alice Peters Auditorium in the Peters Business building, room 191 in the University Business Center, on Feb. 7 from 8:30 to 10 a.m.

A light breakfast will precede the event at 8 a.m., before faculty experts from the Craig School and the Jordan College of Agriculture Sciences and Technology present on topics including the  real estate market, food and beverage manufacturing, the state of water economics and the growing talent market, the release stated.

“To showcase Volume 2 of the Central California Business Review, our authors will present leading-edge research on issues driving our Central Valley economy today,” interim dean for the Craig School Don Stengel said in the release. “New to the lineup this year are the global impact of the region’s food and beverage manufacturing industry, and a deep dive into the business of water economics.”

Presenters featured at the event include Thomas Esqueda, director of the California Water Institute at Fresno State and associate vice president of water and sustainability. Dr. Samer Sarofim and Dr. Andres Jauregui will also share analyses of consumer and real estate sentiment, respectively, according to the release.

The event is free to attend, but RSVPs are encouraged.
