Country music legend Willie Nelson announces Fresno tour date with Alison Krauss

Country music singer Willie Nelson is scheduled to appear with bluegrass-country music singer Alison Krauss at the Save Mart Center on Tuesday, Aug. 7.

Along with having a music career that has spanned six decades, Nelson is also a notable author, actor and activist. In April 2017, he released “God’s Problem Child,” his latest studio album. It debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Country album chart and No. 10 on the Billboard 200.

Krauss’ new album, “Windy City,” is her first effort away from her band, Union Station, in a decade. The album has received critical acclaim and two Grammy nominations.

Tickets for the concert go on sale this Friday, April 6, at 10 a.m. Ticket prices are $39.50, $59.50, $69.50, $89.50 and $125.
