Wake up early

To me, sleeping in is a waste of time. When I wake up at, say, 10 a.m., I feel lazy and unaccomplished.

I typically wake up earlier than I need to. Being in a hurry is stressful, even if I still have enough time to complete everything I want to do. It’s very relieving to have extra time to relax before I need to leave the house. Knowing I won’t be late puts me at ease.

I encourage everyone to wake up early. It’ll truly make your life easier. If you stay in bed for additional time instead, you’ll probably be too preoccupied with the upcoming day to enjoy yourself anyway. Many times, I’ve woken up and scrolled through Twitter. Truthfully, I do it pretty often. When I watch the minutes go by, it just makes me feel uneasy. What’s the point of wasting my time if I’m not even going to like it? Then, I finally get out of bed and rush through the process of getting ready. Overall, It’s an unpleasant experience.

Waking up early can increase productivity. Often, I’ll get up and go for a run. I also love taking the time to cook breakfast. I love cereal, but even the best cereal is just a cereal.

I know I won’t be alive forever and I don’t want to take my time for granted. I only have a limited amount of time – I shouldn’t waste it being asleep.
